The Story Behind Mitered Corner Quilting
Mitered Corner Quilting was born out of a deep love for the comfort, creativity, and connection quilts bring into our lives. My quilting journey began when I was stationed overseas with the U.S. Navy and received a handmade quilt from my grandfather. That simple but powerful gift wrapped me in love during one of the most distant and challenging seasons of my life—and it left an imprint on my heart forever.
Today, I pour that same sense of care and connection into every quilt I touch. Based in Marseilles, Illinois, I proudly serve my local community and accept projects from quilting enthusiasts all across the United States.

The heart and hands behind Mitered Corner Quilting.
My love for quilting began with a heartfelt gift from my grandfather and grew even deeper when I was awarded a Quilt of Valor for my military service. Those experiences taught me that quilts aren’t just blankets—they’re symbols of love, strength, and connection.
Since 2016, I’ve been helping others complete their quilting projects with personal, hand-crafted attention. I’ve quilted dozens of Quilts of Valor for veterans, helped clients preserve memories through custom t-shirt quilts, and taught others how to find joy in creating their own quilts.
No matter where you are in your quilting journey, I’m here to support you with skilled craftsmanship, compassion, and a true love for the art of quilting.
